What is Virtual Provenance?

AxVault Virtual Provenance creates a perpetual record detailing information about and ownership of a guitar.  When you become a member of AxVault’s online guitar archive and add your collection you create a permanent record of your collection with the click of a mouse.  Your guitar may change owners, color, and optional gear, but the AxVault Virtual Provenance will remain and permanently documents the history of your collection.

AxVault Virtual Provenance will eliminate the need to search for what limited information may exist about your guitar’s history.  As our database grows the process will become nearly automatic, providing every available historical detail about your guitar.  Simply input your serial number and date of manufacture, color, hardware and construction will be available as well as current and past owners and any significant historical records. 

An AxVault Virtual Provenance will maximize the current and future value of your guitar much the same way a standard provenance does in the world of fine art and collectibles and a title search does for vehicles.  An AxVault Virtual Provenance provides a permanent record of your ownership not only today, but as it appreciates over time.

In addition AxVault provides a place for collectors and enthusiasts to post their collections for their fellow members to view and post feedback as well as a place to buy, sell, and trade guitars and gear.
